The Commission Process
You can fill out the Commission Enquires form for an initial discussion about the commission, including the choice of medium, photo, size, composition, background and cost. Once we discussed the details, you can place an order. I will send you a composition to approve before I start to paint/draw. After the painting is completed, I will send you an update with a photo of the painting before dispatching it.

Medium
You can choose between a painted portrait and a pencil drawing. For a painting commission, you can also choose for the portrait to be painted in oil or in acrylic. I am happy to help you to decide on a suitable medium for the commission.
Photo
A high-quality and high-resolution photo is preferred to ensure the best result for the painting. I am happy to discuss the most suitable image for the painting with you.
Size and Subjects
I can help you choose from the sizes if you are not sure which one is the best for the painting. Please contact me if you need a quote for a different size or more subjects to be included in the painting.

Portraits Combined from Different Photos
If you would like to combine several subjects from different photos into one frame, I can help you choose the most suitable photos. I will then make a composition and send it to you to approve before I start to paint.
Varnishing
I apply varnish to all the completed paintings to protect them from dust and light.
Time
It takes about 2 to 3 weeks to finish a commission. If you need the painting to be delivered before a specific date, please send me an email.
Shipping
I use Royal Mail Tracked and Signed service for deliveries in the UK, and Royal Mail or UPS for the rest of the World. Express delivery options are available.
